The Tools | Project Options | Status and Initial Values tab as below:
Statuses and Type in this tab specifiy the statuses described in Status Flow in RaQuest.
The following options can be set here:
•Initial Status
This option sets the default status for a new requirement.
•Reviewed Status
This option sets the status value which corresponds to "Reviewed" in RaQuest.
•Approved Status
This option sets the status value which corresponds to "Approved" in RaQuest.
•Default Type
This option decides the default requirement type for a new requirement.
•Default Version
This option decides the default version for a new requirement.
•Default Phase
This option decides the default phase for a new requirement.
•ID Numbering
This option decides whether to set requirement's ID automatically. If checked, RaQuest automatically assigns ID to a requirement. The ID number adds one by one.
oAll
Serial number is assigned to all requirements.
Value and digits can be specified in the right field.
oby Requirement Category
Serial number is assigned by Requirement Category.
ID counter settings of each category in Categories tab is applied to value and digits.
oby Package
Serial number is assigned per Package.
The ID counter settings of the parent package applies to value and digits.
oby Hierarchy style
Number is assigned in hierarchical structure.
Setting serial number and separator/branch number. Formats for separator/branch number can be specified. Only serial number is assigned when the parent requirement does not exist. When the parent requirement exists, the number of the parent requirement ID with the specified separator/branch number added is assigned.
When you change the settings of numbering, the following dialog appears in some cases. Select action for existing Requirements.
